Skift Take
No sense putting planes and passengers at risk.
United Airlines said it would begin cancelling flights in and out of Newark Liberty International and other mid-Atlantic airports starting Sunday night, due to the weather.
The airline advised travelers to check united.com for specific cancellation information.
More than two thirds of all flights in and out of Newark Liberty are operated by United, which also flies out of John F. Kennedy International and LaGuardia.
