Anderson and his airline CEO peers are coming off one of their best years in decades. It's surprising he didn't gloat.

Delta Air Lines CEO Richard Anderson appeared on CNBC's Squawk Box morning program today. Anderson addressed questions from the hosts about the airline's profitability, differentiation in the market, and security.
