It's official. As the European Union begins to open its borders, American travelers remain personae non gratae.

After much speculation and some delay, the European Commission released Tuesday a finalized list of the non-European Union nations whose travelers should be allowed to enter EU countries. The U.S. was not included on the list. The list of nations that will be allowed to visit the EU without travel restrictions from July 1 are: Algeria, Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, Montenegro, Morocco, New Zealand, Rwanda, Serbia, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia and Uruguay.
