Accor has appointed Gilda Perez-Alvarado as its group chief strategy officer, where she will oversee global strategy, manage relations with hotel owners, and handle strategic partnerships. Perez-Alvarado joins Accor with extensive experience from her previous role as Global CEO at JLL Hotels & Hospitality, where she interacted with significant industry players like sovereign wealth funds and private equity. She will begin her new role on October 1 and will be part of Accor's management board.
