New York City hotels slash prices to boost occupancy this January during ‘Hotel Week’

These promotions seem slightly less relevant to the spontaneous booker with the emergence of apps like HotelTonight that allow locals and tourists to book similarly discounted rooms all year long.
The holidays don't have to end for travelers: the second annual New York City Hotel Week is right around the corner, and with it great rewards.
Kicking off on January 4, and stretching through January 20, the bargain-themed event will see rates drop at 26 boutique hotels to between $100 and $250 per night. Visit New York Hotel Week's site to see the full list of participating properties...
