New York City Department of Transportation Commissioner Janette Sadik-Khan and New York City Bike Share have released a statistical report card of Citi Bike’s first month of operation, with riders taking more than a half-million trips since the bike share system launched.
“From skyrocketing sign-ups to an interplanetary number of miles traveled, New Yorkers are showing that when it comes to their enthusiasm for Citi Bikes, the sky’s the limit,” said Commissioner Sadik-Khan.
