YouTube is obviously a major marketing channel for travel brands. Adding AI Overview in 'things to do' first, with other travel verticals to come, may keep users engaged within the Google ecosystem.

YouTube is in the early stages of rolling out AI Overviews in search results when users ask about things to do.

For example, if someone asks about "museums to visit in San Francisco," they would see a video results carousel.
