Corporate travel managers want to learn and improve what they do. It can be hard to take the risk of trying something new that doesn't work out, though, particularly when cost savings alone can seem like success.

This week I went to the Association of Corporate Travel Executives' Global Summit in New York and talked to a bunch of people. Attendance seemed to be way up this year, but the themes discussed and structure remained the same as in recent years. For corporate travel to evolve, the conversation around trends and technological change needs to shift too.
