Qatar Airways had warned earlier that flights would face significant delays after the airspace reopened.

Qatar reopened its airspace late Monday after temporarily closing it amid Iranian threats of retaliation against the U.S.

The country said it had closed the airspace to “ensure the safety of citizens, residents and visitors,” the country’s foreign ministry account posted on X earlier in the day.

The U.S. State Department urged Americans in Qatar to shelter in place “out of an abundance of caution.” On Saturday, the U.S. launched airstrikes at three of Iran’s nuclear sites, effectively entering Israel’s conflict with Iran.
