Hotels.com debuted a loyalty feature that enables Expedia Group OneKey members to use discounts immediately when they book a hotel or save the rewards to redeem later on Hotels.com, Expedia or Vrbo.
Hotels.com characterized the dual-natured product as "a first-to-market feature."
Most loyalty programs allow members to earn rewards or discounts, which can be redeemed for future bookings.
