Skift India Intelligence Summit 2026: A Leadership Lab For India’s Travel Future

Skift Take

India has become one of the most closely watched travel markets globally. The momentum is clear. What leaders must now decide is how to channel it.

Indian outbound travel continues to accelerate, reshaping airline networks, hotel demand, and destination marketing across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

At home, domestic travel keeps expanding across price points, geographies, and platforms, stretching infrastructure and technology in new ways. Inbound tourism to India, however, remains well below potential, constrained by structural, policy, and perception challenges.

For leaders making decisions on capital, product, partnerships, and technology, the overlap matters more than any single trend.

On March 26, Skift will convene the Skift India Intelligence Summit in New Delhi, a closed-door, half-day gathering of senior travel leaders focused on what this moment means in practice.

The Summit is designed as a working session rather than a traditional travel conference. Discussions will be grounded in new Skift research, real operating experience, and peer exchange among decision-makers shaping India’s travel industry.

What Leaders Will Discuss

The agenda reflects the questions currently facing travel and travel technology leaders in India.

  • How outbound growth is reshaping network planning, distribution, and partnerships.
  • What it actually takes to scale domestic travel products across India’s fragmented demand and supply base.
  • Where inbound tourism breaks down, from air access to destination readiness to marketing execution.
  • How data, AI, and automation are being applied today, and where expectations are running ahead of reality.
  • What global companies still misunderstand about India, and what local players underestimate about global competition.

Sessions will be anchored in research and moderated discussion, with a focus on practical insight.

Who Will Attend the Skift India Intelligence Summit

Attendance is limited and senior by design.

The Summit will gather over 100 decision-makers, including C-suite executives, business heads, leaders responsible for data, digital, revenue, and operations, founders of high-impact travel and travel-tech companies, select investors, and public-sector leaders involved in tourism strategy.

Participants are expected to contribute, challenge ideas, and share real experiences in a trusted, closed setting.

Event Format

The Summit will begin with a networking lunch, followed by an afternoon of discussion-led sessions. An evening reception will conclude the day.

The structure is designed to support sustained conversation rather than short-form presentations.
