Emirates president Sir Tim Clark told Skift Tuesday that retirement is not on the agenda — but that his team knows what to do the day he does leave.
Clark's remarks in response to a question at the Farnborough Airshow push back on speculation about the immediate future of one of the industry's longest-serving leaders.
"It's not time to talk about retirement. Succession is there," he said, pointing to the team around him. "If any one of us steps out for any reason, there will be a closing of ranks and things will continue. They will know what they have to do, they will know what the plan is, from the macro to the micro."
