Norwegian continues to succeed where other airlines had failed before. It's fuel-efficient fleet and strong cost controls mean that it is making low-cost long-haul flying a reality.

A rise in Spanish and U.S. passengers has helped Norwegian Air Shuttle post its best ever quarterly set of results. The carrier reported a net profit of $122 million – an increase of 19 percent on the prior year with revenue up 15 percent to $1 billion. Several key airline metrics also saw improvements. Load factor rose by 0.6 percentage points to 91.3 percent while production growth
