Qatar Airways Agrees Record-Breaking Boeing Order

Qatar Airways has ordered up to 210 Boeing twin-aisle aircraft. The deal was announced by the White House as part of President Donald Trump’s tour of the Middle East.
In a statement published Wednesday, the White House said the order is for Boeing 787 Dreamliner and 777X widebody aircraft. The planes will use engines produced by U.S. firm, GE Aerospace.
The Qatari carrier has placed a firm order for 130 787s and 30 of the next-generation 777-9 plane. There are options for up to 50 additional aircraft.
