Wyndham CEO Geoff Ballotti was diagnosed with "multiple myeloma, but it was caught "early" and his prognosis is "favorable. The 65-year-old executive will remain in his role while he undergoes treatment.
Wyndham CEO Geoff Ballotti was diagnosed last week with 'multiple myeloma." The executive, who turned 65 in April, will remain in his role while he undergoes treatment, the company said Monday.
In a message to Wyndham employees, Ballotti noted that it's "a highly treatable form of bone cancer," adding that "my prognosis is favorable, and I feel unbelievably blessed and incredibly lucky that it was caught as early as it was."
Ballotti is receiving treatment at Boston's Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Dana-Farber
