We love the idea of a JetBlue and Virgin America merger, but loving the notion does not make it any more likely. Assuming that anyone will one day buy Virgin America, we believe it will be Delta. Go on, though, JetBlue. We would be delighted to be wrong.

It’s no surprise that the group which partnered to design the new Waterfront Business class seat chose to first reveal the product at CES 2016. Not only is it a Panasonic product, in collaboration with B/E Aerospace, Formation Design and Teague, but it was also designed to fit the new hyper-connected business traveler.

It’s difficult to argue with Tyler when he says the cabin product has improved dramatically. Vintage romance aside, “Golden age” flyers would have given a wing to fly in any of today’s Premium Economy cabins.
