Glen Hauenstein, president of Delta Air Lines and widely respected in the airline industry, is set to retire February 28, the carrier said Wednesday. 

Hauenstein, 64, joined Delta in 2005 and became president of the airline in 2016. He has played a pivotal role in the carrier’s push into premium products, which has made Delta among the most profitable airlines in the U.S.
