Instagram Direct is a nice new feature, but hardly anything revolutionary. Travel marketers might make some use of it, but it doesn't look like anything that could provide any scale to such attempts.

Instagram today launched a private photo and video-sharing feature, Instagram Direct, that CEO Kevin Systrom likens to the old days of "gathering people around the table and showing photos of your vacation."
