EasyJet's choice for its new CEO is a bit of a surprise given that Johan Lundgren left his last job at TUI Group in May 2015 and wasn't one of the many names linked with the job. Still he's got plenty of travel experience, which will help him deal with the challenges in his new role.
EasyJet has appointed Johan Lundgren, the former deputy Chief Executive of tour operator TUI Group, as its new CEO.
Lundgren replaces Carolyn McCall, who announced she was leaving the airline earlier this year to join UK broadcaster ITV. He will take over on December 1 with McCall stepping down as CEO on 30 November. McCall will remai
