Tripadvisor Lays Off 25 Percent of Global Workforce, Closes Some Offices

Tripadvisor isn't immune from the coronavirus travel lockdown in many parts of the world, and it is taking difficult steps to survive the pandemic.

Tripadvisor CEO Steve Kaufer informed employees Tuesday morning in a town hall meeting that the company is reducing its global workforce by 25 percent, including 600 U.S. employees as part of a broader restructuring, Skift has learned.
