New York Climate Week has been dominated by the aviation sector, which used the annual gathering to promote sustainable aviation fuel, or SAF, as the industry’s best hope for cutting emissions.
Climate Week is a sprawling festival of more than 900 events across New York City that draws businesses, policymakers, and activists. It usually coincides with the United Nations General Assembly, when world leaders meet to debate global priorities.
