Apple is preparing to replace Siri with a generative AI chatbot across iPhones, iPads, and Macs later this year, according to a Bloomberg report.
The move would shift Siri from a largely command-based assistant into a more persistent conversational interface. It also brings a familiar issue back into focus: how much room Apple leaves for third-party services inside the rebuilt assistant.
