Accor Goes Global With Subscription Cards to Boost Hotel Loyalty

Accor is the only major hotel group to heavily push paid subscription cards, giving guests access to discounts and perks at hotels worldwide. It's now rebranding the cards and changing some of their perks.
Accor plans to unify its hotel subscription cards under a global brand, granting members discounts and perks worldwide instead of regionally.
Until now, Accor only offered subscription cards in a few regional markets, such as Asia Pacific and Brazil. On Wednesday, the company revealed a new global brand, ALL Accor+.
The cards will offer travelers worldwide access to a consistent 15% discount at hotels in most brands across over 4,000 properties in 100 countries, along with opportunities to reach higher tiers of status in the French hotel group's loyalty program, said Mehdi Hemici, chief loyalty and ecommerce officer.
