Spas. Rooftop bars. Trendy restaurants. Hotels don’t want to just get “heads in beds” anymore – they’re increasingly positioning themselves as lifestyle brands and targeting locals for new business.
According to Skift Research’s latest U.S. Travel Trends survey, 73% of respondents said they would be very likely to visit a hotel’s rooftop bar, restaurant, or spa if it were open to non-guests and positioned as a destination for locals.
