Capital One Travel Taps Agoda B2B Veteran as New Head: Scoop

Capital One Travel landed an experienced travel B2B exec in Sarah Kaplan Moore, who hails from the online travel agency side of the ledger. Capital One's Discover acquisition potentially provides it with ammunition to better compete against leaders Chase Travel and American Express Travel.

Sarah Kaplan Moore, who previously led an Agoda B2B division at Booking Holdings, has taken over as Head of Capital One Travel.

Moore has been in the role since September 8, and reports to Matt Knise, Head of Capital One Premium Products and Travel. The news of her appointment has not been previously reported and a public announcement is expected soon.

Moore brings experience in travel partnerships: She spent roughly six years at Rocket Travel by Agoda, which has supply deals with American Airlines and Emirates, among many others, and previously worked at the Expedia's affiliate network from January 2014 to April 2018. From April 2018 to August 2019, Moore served as vice president of distribution at online ticket marketplace Vivid Seats, which had partnerships with Capital One and Expedia.
